About this role

We're seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the ongoing development, maintenance, and evolution of the Valley platform. You'll be the bridge between product vision and technical execution – ensuring our platform remains fast, reliable, and continuously improving. This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on technical work with product ownership, perfect for someone who loves both coding and shaping product direction.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the technical roadmap and prioritize features, improvements, and bug fixes - Maintain and improve the Valley platform (Next.js 14, React, TypeScript, Supabase) - Ensure platform stability, performance, and security across web and mobile - Coordinate releases, deployments, and version upgrades - Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews - Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations - Manage technical debt and plan refactoring initiatives - Translate product requirements into technical specifications - Collaborate with design to implement UI/UX improvements - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and development workflows - Document technical architecture, APIs, and development processes - Evaluate and integrate third-party services and APIs - Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the team grows

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in software development - Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript - Experience with PostgreSQL and backend development (Node.js, Supabase, or similar) - Understanding of product management principles and agile methodologies - Experience with cloud platforms (Vercel, AWS, or similar) - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to balance technical excellence with shipping speed - Excellent communication skills – can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders - Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows - Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously
