YGO Raises €8 Million Series A to Make Travel Inventory Bookable Through AI Agents
Berlin-based YGO, which is building an AI infrastructure layer for the travel industry, has closed an €8 million Series A round led by Ventech, with participation from Sake Bosch, Caesar Capital and a group of business angels. The company's platform is designed to make travel inventory bookable through AI agents. The raise follows a €2.5 million round announced in August 2024, led by GetAway Group, bringing YGO's disclosed funding to €10.5 million.
Key takeaway: As AI agents move from answering questions to completing transactions, travel suppliers that are not machine-readable risk being left out of the booking flow, and infrastructure players like YGO are positioning to become the connective layer.
