Germany’s startup sector hits a record 3,000 launches in six months. More than 3,000 startups were founded in the first half of 2026, up 52% from the previous six months, with roughly one-third focused on AI. German startups raised €8 billion in venture capital through September, but AI funding remains far below US levels.
